A complete transformation of one of the network’s most significant annual events. Sapia Creative led strategic planning, creative direction and full production oversight, delivering a refined and immersive awards experience at scale.
The creative vision centred on The Landscape of Australia — a concept designed to celebrate the network’s national footprint while strategically aligning with the upcoming Uluru incentive journey.
Rather than literal interpretation, the ballroom was reimagined through tonal layering and textural depth. Earth inspired palettes of sandstone, clay and muted desert hues were woven through custom stage architecture, sculptural styling elements and curated table scapes. Architectural framing and layered lighting shifted the room from warm dusk tones to dramatic evening intensity, evoking horizon, terrain and movement.
From stakeholder alignment and supplier management to spatial design and onsite execution, every layer was engineered with precision. The result was record attendance, elevated brand presence and an experience that redefined the standard for future events.

Sapia Creative led the groundbreaking creative direction, styling and event management for this exclusive Business Leaders’ Network gathering, translating the exhibition’s core philosophy into a live spatial experience.
The concept centred on transformation through craft. Drawing inspiration from the artisanship celebrated within Wonderstruck, our team hand constructed hundreds of sculptural crinoline installations — elevating a traditionally utilitarian material into a suspended architectural statement layered above the dining environment.
A 70 metre drape of vibrant fabric was suspended from the mezzanine, cascading through the gallery void before descending to form the dining table itself. Traditionally used for alternative industrial purposes, the material was reimagined as both floating installation and functional table linen — blurring the line between structure and styling.
Repetition became rhythm. Labour became spectacle. Process became art.
The elongated communal table was framed by transparent seating and illuminated by sculpted lighting, allowing texture, shadow and movement to animate the gallery walls.
Every element honoured the exhibition’s narrative — celebrating craftsmanship, materiality and the power of reimagining the everyday.
The result was not simply a dinner within the gallery. It was an extension of the exhibition into lived experience.

Delivered as part of LabWare’s flagship annual Customer Education Conference, a global gathering of leaders in laboratory technology and scientific innovation.
Sapia Creative led creative direction, styling and event management for the conference gala evening, transforming a raw industrial venue into a refined and atmospheric dining environment.
The design narrative centred on illumination within structure. Open frame architectural forms established rhythm and scale across the 400 guest setting, creating a disciplined industrial backbone. Suspended floating candles were woven through the framework, introducing vertical light play and an unexpected sense of levity within the expansive space.
Long communal tables were layered in deep tonal linens, sculptural florals and precise glassware placement, balancing softness against steel. Lighting design amplified shadow, contrast and reflection, allowing illumination to become both focal point and atmosphere.
The result was deliberate and immersive - an industrial environment reimagined with precision, warmth and unmistakable impact for delegates attending LabWare’s most significant annual global event.
